The Researcher and the Research

His education in the field of Chemistry at the University of Coimbra laid the seed for the "challenge" he decided to face as a researcher and professor at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD) - take advantage, valuing energetically the by-product of the olive oil sector (wet pomace).

The laboratory was for five years a second home, so many hours were dedicated to solving a severe environmental problem. In the end, success!

With consistent analytical and energetic results, he obtained extraordinary Pellets, and from there, it was a path to industrial scale that resulted in the definitive solution - BioCombus Technology.
